When your life is going in spurts and temporary dashes,  with no clear meaning and, only, empty promises of better days to come, it can be really comforting to get a good shot in the arm of age-old insights – universal truths – gathered over the many centuries by fellow creatures like ourselves, who managed to successfully overcome their days, months and even years of numbing, existential despair through connecting with the deep axioms of yesteryear.

The following words of wisdom have seemed particularly helpful to me as I,  occasionally, struggled to grapple with real life issues. Hopefully, the reader may also gain new understanding by a careful review of these commentaries.
