University Days – 1957 to 1961 and 1961 to 1963

The years that I spent at U-Mass-Lowell, AKA LTI or Lowell Technological Institute,  and, later, at the  Pennsylvania State University basically transformed my entire life from that of an immigrant, naive, young man to someone, then, taking a much broader view of the myriad of opinions, philosophies, political standings and the literature of Europe and North America.  Naturally, these days also allowed me to hone some rudimentary concepts related to science and mathematics, especially, the new physics marked by quantum mechanics and elements of special relativity theory.
