Marist Brothers

The life-long influence of the French Marist Brothers, on my character and view of the world around me, must not be underestimated. My years as a student at St-Joseph School for Boys located at xx Merrimack St near the Aiken St crossing represent the essential framework upon which I was able to fashion a broad worldview, which eventually fused into the concepts of the Standard Model of physics.

The excerpts presented below outline, imperfectly, perhaps, the daily activities of these teaching brothers, who were attempting to bring some form of enlightenment to the street ruffians of Little Canada where the school was located.
