Hard-working people were already hanging on by their fingernails long before Donald Trump got elected last November. But this week makes it crystal clear: Donald Trump and the Republicans are all in to help out giant corporations, and that means delivering one blow after another to working people — and for some, it’s now the knockout blow.
I’ll be blunt: We don’t have time to point fingers about what happened last November. We can’t waste energy trying to decide which member of our alliance to vote off the island.
America’s working families are under attack right now. The way I see it: We can fight against each other, or we can fight for the people who need us. Me? I’m in this fight for hard working people.
But in order for us to stay in this fight, I need to stay in the United States Senate. Donald Trump and Steve Bannon’s favorite megadonor has already made me his top target for 2018. 
The Republican machine is already pulling out its 2016 playbook against us – trying to keep us distracted from their dangerous agenda. They are running ads now.
In all these fights, for all these years, the PCCC has always been by my side as we stand up to the billionaires, giant corporations, and their buddies in Washington.
This was never about me — it was about all of us working together to level the playing field. And the stakes have never been higher.
